1st blog post ever!!!
Well, this is my first blog EVER. I never thought I would want to blog, but so far it's OK. I really don't know what to say or type for that matter, but i know it will come to me in a matter of time, I just have to get use to writing/ typing my thoughts. The question I'm asking myself right now is do I write everyday, just once a week, or just whenever? I chose... just whenever!! My blog, my thoughts, and my way! Ha! Yes, I think I like the sound of that a little to much!! So, now.....hmmmm.......oh well maybe Ill have something tomorrow, or just whenever!!!!
Nice I think im going to enjoy this!! Praying God gives me His thoughts to write!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO funny! Really, God will send you the words. One of the things I learned about writing is to be consistent, write daily if you can. Don't worry about grammar (Jason doesn't, it comes straight from his heart)or spelling. Once you get it out you can go back and correct it if you want to. I really like to read people who write like they talk, like me, too many details, run on sentences, but passionate about what they have to say.
ReplyDeleteThat's you, too! Passionate!
While you are in Kenya keep a detailed journal, you can write from your notes when you get home, or if y'all stay in the Sportsman's Arms Hotel there is a small internet "cafe"you can feed money into to use.
I didn't get online at all. I also didn't text or twitter or call home after we got there. I took a total technology fast. Believe it or not, my thoughts were much more focused without all the interruptions!
Can't wait to read what the Lord puts on your heart! Oh yeah, it doesn't always have to be deep stuff. Read Beth Moore's blog, most days filled with challenges, motivation and great messages from God, but some days just silly stuff we Southern women go through being wives, mothers and believers.
I love you Kedra, praying for God to rain down his blessings on you in this new endeavor, and especially during your Kenya trip.
